I've actually got a new job.
And this time, it's here to stay.
Back in the spring, having completed the manuscript for my book, Raise your SQ, I found myself twiddling my thumbs and panicking.
I’d been so immersed in the process of writing it that I’d shelved all other work (writing, coaching). Now, I didn’t know what to do.
I needed to earn money, I needed focus. I wanted to write. I couldn’t see how to earn a good living from pure writing.
Journalism commissions were harder to come by and I was being paid less than when I started out but was now expected to do extras like source press images, too.
And while I knew I could write about three or four books a year, the industry doesn’t often publish at that rate. There needs to be space between each book.
After some shamanic journeying, I had this idea that I’d do something completely different to my usual work. I wrote about it here.
I got started - working with my husband on his business - but then something magnificent happened.
