Today I’m speaking with Joanne Hardcastle. Joanne is a Yorkshire born-and-bred interior designer and stylist, a content creator, she was on the BBC’s Interior Design Masters and she’s a writer. In this episode, we talk about the importance of interior design in creating a sense of home and belonging, how Joanne designed the brilliantly bold and colourful interiors in her own home, and how it feels when your children start to leave home.
Loved listening to this, thanks so much Annie and Joanne. I so identified with Joanne. Used to love Changing Rooms and tried all those ideas too in my first house and the series of houses that followed. 🏡 And yes, when your kids leave home it really impacts on your sense of identity.
One for the dog walk. Look forward to it. I LOVE interior design, done loads of houses up over the years - homes are not just places to live they are expressions of who you are aren't they?
