I've just done exactly the same, as in, I've 'booked' (I'm self employed, so I was making a booking with myself) to have a Wednesday off work each week. That'll mean a chikd-free day, as well as a work-free day, something I've not had in ten years. It feels amazing, and I get excited thinking about it. My first was last week as I took myself off to a national trust garden in the sunshine. I've written my post about it, scheduled for this week's free newsletter. It was full of glimmers and I relished every moment.

It's true that we forget how to appreciate the small things, and get into an auto-pilot routine without realising it. We all need glimmers, glad you got yours. I enjoy your writing, thank you xx

All about those day dates in the week with no kids. And it’s amazing how it feeds positively into all areas of life xx

Oh wow. I just love what you’ve written here. A three-month glimmer! And the idea that gamers are about bridging reality and fantasy world… This is so magical and lovely xxx
