Writing a poem on your morning run/walk. A Substack post as soon as the idea drops. An online course because it's suddenly formed, in your mind. No rules. Lots of creativity. Become one of the 15%.
Interesting post. At times, I can feel my output being stunted by avoiding free-writing, perhaps it’s time to reimplement some of the older freestyle routines that helped my consistency in the past.
There’s plenty of gems here, a lot to test out going forward.
So you're saying you don't have a posting schedule here on Substack? I don't either! And I keep feeling like I should create one, but then it stifles my creativity... so still avoiding the schedule... Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you for sharing this - I have always felt better writing as inspiration strikes. Now I am trying to take writing more “seriously” so felt that I needed to post according to a schedule, but the whole thought of it just made my heart drop as writing has always been my freedom. So thank you for sharing this piece, and making me feel ok to post and share and write on the fly. It is what brings me joy, so thank you for that reminder and also THANK YOU for the amazing courses. Just finished the latest one and again I am reminding of how simple it all can be. I really found you and your writing at the right time!
Thank you for putting into words what my heart has been trying to tell me for quite some time! The juggling of family life and homeschooling can be overwhelming but for me personally, I'm better at doing those things when I can also write, exercise, and take time out to be quiet.
This is all so true and important! There is no one way to do these things, it’s about carving a path, sensing it by touch, working out what works for me or you. I’ve started my Substack by writing just five minutes at a time — and I still tend to write in sessions of just five to twenty minutes or so, and it works! 🧡
Ahh, thank you so much, Cassie xxx
This is a beautiful story of crafting a dream life. It’s a lot about choices.

I love what you wrote here. I just want to know Annie, which bus or coffee shop restroom was this written in? 😜
Absolutely loved the Creative Way course! So excited for everyone to get to experience it again 🥰
