What do you make a priority?
A friend tells me she prioritises time without her kids, at the weekend, and it opens my mind to new possibilities.
I have this friend who I first met about 15 years ago when she was putting on an art exhibition in Hackney and I was there, as a journalist, to review it.
A year or so later, she had her first baby.
A year or so after that, I had mine.
One afternoon, I’m lying back on the sofa, my newborn suckling away, and she phones me.
Usually, I don’t answer the phone but I like her, and I’m excited to see her name pop up, so I press the green phone symbol and we start talking.
