My story
In 2017, I had a two-year-old daughter, a three-month-old baby boy and I was running a digital culture and lifestyle platform called The Early Hour, publishing articles daily at 5am.
It was a busy time, and I felt quite stressed by the workload of both motherhood and running The Early Hour, but I continued with it because I’m a journalist and I need to be writing and interviewing and sharing it with the world.
One afternoon in our local pub, a few pints in, I met a woman who would open the door to the book publishing industry for me. It was a chance meeting and one I’ll forever be grateful for.
