A summer solstice exercise
It's the longest day of the year. Here are some coaching questions to help you reflect on your own growth since the start of the year.
Happy summer solstice.
A time to celebrate sunshine, summer, light, food, energy and community.
I invite you to use some of the extra time today to reflect on your year, so far.
Get yourself a notepad and pen. Get comfortable. And give yourself time and space to reflect and dream…
How did you feel at the start of the year (January 1st)?
Name three brilliant things that have happened this year, so far?
And what has happened that you weren’t so happy about?
What did you hope to have achieved by this point in the year?
Did that happen?
If so, well done. How do you feel, having achieved it?
If not, what led you off-track?
What has been the highlight of your year?
In what ways have you grown, as a person?
How have you helped others?
How have you nourished yourself?
Who have you been surrounded by?
Who would you like to have been closer to?
In what ways has your life expanded?
What has brought you light?
What would you like to leave behind?
How would you like to narrow your focus for the next six months?
What one goal would you like to work towards?
Name three ways you will bring in more light and joy?
Choose a word for the period between summer and winter solstice.

I’ve got a long stint sat beside a swimming pool (indoor!) this evening so will save these for then, thanks Annie x
